A letter to the visitor...
Welcome!
I’m an independent researcher exploring how technology can better support learning for individuals with cognitive disabilities and autism. My work brings together learning analytics, human-computer interaction, and social-emotional learning with a focus on how emerging tools can strengthen individuals affective processing skills and engage more meaningfully in their learning environments. For more information please see my research agenda.
About me:
I’m a well-organized and ambitious self-starter. I enjoy working across disciplines and learning from others with different perspectives. Outside of research, I enjoy reading philosophical texts and books that challenge how we understand ourselves and the world around us. I also enjoy strategy-based thinking. Chess is a favorite of mine, not as a ranked player, but for the way it encourages focus and long-term thinking.
If any of this aligns with your interests, if you have questions, or if you're simply up for a game of chess, feel free to reach out. I welcome thoughtful conversations and new collaborations.
